บทวิเคราะห์ข้อสอบ A-NET ในส่วนของ English for Academic Purpose โดยแบ่งออกเป็น 4 ส่วน คือ
Part 1 : Vocabulary ข้อสอบส่วนนี้นักเรียนในระดับชั้น ม.ปลายจะต้องมีความรู้คำศัพท์ในแขนงวิชาต่างๆ และสามารถใช้คำที่มีความหมายใกล้เคียงกันได้อย่างถูกต้อง
Part 2 : Writing Ability ข้อสอบแนวนี้ต้องการวัดทักษะการเขียนของนักเรียน นั่นคือนักเรียนสามารถชี้ได้
ว่าส่วนใดในประโยคใช้ไวยากรณ์ที่ไม่ถูกต้องหรือคำที่มีความหมายผิดเพี้ยนไป
Part 3 : Cloze Test ข้อสอบเติมคำนี้ต้องการวัดความสามารถที่เป็นองค์รวมทั้งการใช้คำศัพท์ การใช้ไวยากรณ์และความสามารถในการเชื่อมโยงและปะติดปะต่อความหมายเข้าด้วยกัน จนสามารถเติมส่วนที่ขาดหายไปได้อย่างถูกต้อง
Part 4 : Reading Comprehension ข้อสอบวัดความสามารถในการอ่าน ซึ่งเป็นทักษะที่สำคัญในการใช้
ศึกษาต่อในระดับอุดมศึกษา นักเรียนจึงควรสะสมความรู้ในแขนงต่างๆ ไว้เพื่อใช้เป็นพื้นฐานในการวิเคราะห์
เนื้อเรื่องแขนงวิชาต่างๆขอให้นักเรียนลองฝึกทำข้อสอบ โดยดูคำเฉลยท้ายบท
PART I : Vocabulary
ข้อแนะนำในการทำข้อสอบวัดความรู้คำศัพท์
1. อ่านข้อความให้จบประโยค เพื่อใช้วิเคราะห์ความหมายของคำที่ขีดเส้นใต้มาให้
2. ใช้ตัวชี้แนะหรือคำสันธานตลอดจนข้อความข้างเคียงในการตีความฉะนั้น คุณครูขอแนะนำให้นักเรียนเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนล่วงหน้าด้วยการ
1. สะสม และหมั่นท่องคำศัพท์ไว้เรื่อยๆ ท่องครั้งละ 5-10 คำ แต่ท่องบ่อยๆ
2. หมั่นทำข้อสอบการอ่าน เพื่อทำให้เราระลึกถึงคำแปลของคำศัพท์ที่เราพบในการอ่าน เพราะบ่อยครั้งที่
เราจำคำศัพท์ได้ แต่พอคำศัพท์เหล่านี้ไปปรากฏในข้อความใหม่ๆ เราจะนึกไม่ออก ฉะนั้นการหมั่นนึกถึงความหมายของคำศัพท์ที่เราพบจะช่วยให้เราพัฒนาความจำช่วงยาวได้ เพราะฉะนั้นอย่าเกียจคร้านในการจดจำคำศัพท์
